This is a post I just made on Facebook concerning a massive data center being constructed in Fort Wayne, IN. Ours is probably somewhat unique as it is being located in an area of our city near residences which is causing a wide variety of concerns, but the data centers are going up all over the place. Makes one wonder what exactly is being stored in them?:
I just read a post that this is what the Google monstrosity being put in our backyard is all about. If so, no wonder it was cloaked in secrecy and we were never given a say. Talk about making Fort Wayne a target on a warfare map. Great job State of Indiana! (If it’s proven this is BS, I will apologize for making assumptions. I PRAY I will need to apologize!):
“The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded a $9 billion cloud computing contract to Amazon, Google, Microsoft, and Oracle[1][2][3][4][5]. The Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) contract will provide the Pentagon with enterprise-wide cloud services across all security domains and classification levels, from the strategic to tactical level[1][4].
The contract, which runs until June 2028, is a departure from the previous JEDI contract awarded solely to Microsoft in 2019[1][2]. The JEDI contract was mired in controversy and legal battles, with Amazon alleging political interference from former President Trump[2].
The multi-vendor approach is more common in the private sector and aims to make the work cheaper and more resilient[2][3]. Each company will compete for individual task orders, with a minimum guarantee of $100,000[2][3].
The award is a significant win for Oracle, which is not typically considered a top cloud provider[3]. All four companies have achieved high-level security accreditations to host the Pentagon's sensitive data[4].

does anyone know why @KimIversen stopped answering question from her locals community on her rumble show. I know she said she was gonna take a break from doing it while she was getting settled into her place in Idaho, but it ben months now and she has yet to do it again. when Kim left the hill we stood by and supported her. as soon as she got her rumble deal she seemed to have abandoned her supporters. i wonder if we'll even get Supporters only content again. i know she put out some Supporters only content during to Italy vacation but has since removed it. also what happened to johnny? he was a why better producer than this Jewish guy she has since hired
This appears, at least off the cuff, to be excellent data. Thanks Caitlin!
