I had to take some days off this week because of tech difficulties. I upgraded my broadcast software but it’s now making my computer run slow and the video is choppy. I need a new computer but it’s not in the budget at the moment so I’m trying to figure out how to fix the problem. I can’t go back to the old version of the software because it was crashing which is why I upgraded it. Seems like a lose-lose and I might have to go back to the old, cumbersome and time consuming way of recording videos until I can fix this mess.
Hope to be back very soon.

If deep fake AIs are in video format than that is a massive problem. All of a sudden the notion ‘caught on video’ will have less meaning then eyewitness testimony.
A potential real life sci-fi like problem. Who’s who then? Who could be anyone. The irony is that the original purpose of the internet is that very same notion of anonymity.
I guess this is why AI is the third dangerous global problem behind that of the climate crisis and the most dangerous problem of nuclear war.
The Final Nightly Show
System Update #573 | Friday, February 6, 2025
An end to a really great nightly show - in 20/20 hindsight and not 20/20 bullshit. I look forward to continue to follow Glenn Greenwald on his re-emergence on to Substack, where he was great there as well.
And I also must give a shoutout to Chris Pavlovski the CEO of Rumble who laid out a really necessary and great platform. I am additionally a very happy Premium member of Rumble.
Thanks so much Glenn for the past 5 years on Substack and Rumble!
